Welcome to the latest edition of the HS Trail News. A warm welcome to the many new members who have joined us this week, we are so excited that you’ve joined us. Please be sure and let Doug or I know if you have any questions.
This week I want to hear YOU talk. Yes, YOU.. don’t wait for someone else to say what you’re thinking. I want YOU to tell me.
My question isn’t hard, in fact I’ll bet you might even have some answers that you’ve already thought about.
What could be done to HitSafari to make it more user friendly?
Is there something that would make it easier to do what you need to do? Something that is confusing? Something you’d like to see removed all together? I don’t think that the inside has ever been re-designed and it might just be time to make some changes. We have a record number of new members coming in every day and I want HS to be as easy to use as it can be.
So if you’re new.. Talk to me. Tell me what you like or are having trouble with. If you’ve been around for awhile, let me know what we could do to update things. Leave a comment here or go to The Members Forum and leave your suggestions under the November 14th topic of the HitSafari section and we’ll get some disucussion going.

Every week each member who has surfed at least 50 times on 5 separate days of the week, Monday - Sunday, is entered into a
drawing. 5 members are chosen randomly and are awarded credits.
Prizes are credits in the amounts of:
500, 400, 300, 200, or 100.
When we have over 200 surfers who qualify, prizes are increased by 50%.

I think you should use ~100 on 5, considering that it 10secs timer now…
My other suggestion is: All surfers would like to know how many people is surfing at this time, if it would be displayed on the surfer bar, this would motivate the surfer to surf even more….knowing that there are a lot of surfers surfing at the same time.
I don’t hide this, in my opinion HitSafari is one of the best traffic exchanges, or perhaps the best.

A good idea might be to reward the top 10 surfers of each month by allowing them to send a solo ad to the whole HitSafari membership. I think this feature would set your servers on fire.

What I think would be really nice is a complete listing of the site menu like
I Love Hits has. Faster navigating and no guessing where anything is.
Also more and larger spots to start surfing from.

Paula, don’t see anything wrong with HS…lol Does so great for me, hate to see you change anything. However as mentioned above if you feel the desire to make any changes, the navigation buttons in the members area could use more exposure.
Probably not an issue for anyone that has become familiar with HS, but might be for new members coming into the system. Took me a while after first joining to find all the links I needed, but hey that was some time ago…lol
One thing that would be VERY helpful: display a running total of credits earned for the day plus overall credits earned (and not yet assigned), so that I don’t have to stop surfing to check.

I love Hit Safari !
I really like my other TE’s that have this perk :-).
But I would like to have more “prizes” and/or “games” added to the site. It makes it more “fun”.
